In the picture we see a young child holding hands with an adult. In the background we can see a bridge stretching over a body of water. We all belong to this collective of the human race, we share a common feature throughout history. We flock to love and affection, when we were innocent young kids and our parents had to look over us and we counted on there protection and care. When we grow up and become more mature we look for new love and affection from others beside our parents. This can sometimes lead to families being started, and the cycle continuing with you providing love and affection to your kids and your partner, like your parents once did for you and for each other. The background in this photo has more importance than you might think. The bridge stretching over the water can symbolize structure and support, it can also represent crossing over or transitioning into a new chapter of your life.
Personally when I was growing up I was brought into an awesome and loving family with two older sisters and loving parents. As I grew up my family always had my back through the good times and bad, and they all loved and cared for me. I believe it is essential for kids growing up around the world to have a loving and supportive home to grow up in. The sad thing is that many kids don’t get this luxury, many kids end up being taken out of their homes and put into foster homes or put up for adoption. It is so important for parents around the world to give their kids the utmost care and affection and love that they deserve. In my opinion this is key to raising a child.
The symbolism of the bridge over the water in the background also connects to the idea of parenthood. As I said before the bridge can represent stability and structure, two important things a parent must give their child. Personally when i was growing up there was lots structure and stability in the home. We never moved therefore I never had to switch schools and leave my friends behind. There were lots of rules in my household when I was growing up, which ultimately play’s into the structure side of things. I believe it's important to discipline your kids and teach them right from wrong.
Ultimately the photograph suggests the key and important factors to raising a child the right way, and making sure they feel loved and appreciated throughout their journey.
