Labour Day is traditionally when the U.S. presidential election enters its final stretch. The new polls suggest that Trump is closing the gap on Hillary Clinton. The latest projections of the presidency race shows that Hillary's lead on trump in the polls has been cut in half just in the past month.
Clinton has been estimated to have the support of 45.4 percent of decided voters, while trump following closely behind with a 42.2 percent. On average 12.4 percent of decided voters say they will vote for third party candidates.
An enduring problem for clinton though is that a majority of americans do not trust her. A recent IBD/TIPP poll showed that just 37 per cent of Americans considered Clinton honest and trustworthy, compared to 62 per cent who did not. They were more divided on Trump with 46 per cent thinking him honest and trustworthy and 52 per cent thinking otherwise. Another survey that asked who do you trust more, 50 percent of americans selected trump more trustworthy. Just 35 percent selected Clinton.
The reason i picked this current event is because this heavily relates to nationalism, honestly this election is deciding the most powerful leader in the world.
